Join us for the opening of our annual July summer art exhibition on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 6-9 PM, a landscape art exhibition featuring original artwork by six of our talented gallery artists.
Curatorial Statement
LAND + FORM emphasizes the union of content and contour. It invites us to reflect on how we speak of “bodies of land” and “bodies of water”—suggesting terrain not only as geography, but as embodiment. This exhibition leans into those metaphors, examining how forms found in nature and cityscapes alike mirror our own presence in the world. What does it mean to belong to a place? How do its forms shape us, and how do we, in turn, shape it?
Whether the viewer finds themselves tracing the lines of a leaf, horizon line, or the silhouette of a building, LAND + FORM asks for a renewed attention to the rhythms and contours, the shapes and forms that surround us daily—familiar yet often unseen. This is an invitation to slow down, to look closely, and to see the world not just as background, but as body—alive, expressive, and profoundly intertwined with our own.
