- professional and thoughtful advice
We offer clients, new and old, professional and thoughtful advice on their purchase. We want to ensure that every client falls in love with the work they have chosen. Buying art is a matter of the heart and soul. Make sure that your next piece is the heart and soul of your space. We are here to help facilitate this discovery.
Not sure where to start? Check out our helpful artist flowchart.
- virtual installations
Let us create a digital mock-up of the artwork in your space. This will help you better gauge the proportion of the art on any wall. Simply provide us with a landscape-oriented photo of your space and a measurement of the width of the wall. We can then “virtually” install any of the paintings offered at Crescent Hill. We also offer virtual installations for wall-hanging sculpture works such as Tim McFadden’s glass stones or Renato Foti’s “Retromesh”.
And if you decide to purchase, we’d be happy to help you hang it perfectly in your space.
- in-home trials
One of our main concerns is that you love a piece before you buy it. Often, it is impossible to determine if a work is the correct size or texture by looking at in on our white walls that are lit to highlight the work.
We encourage local clients to take home a piece and try it on their wall for a few days. This allows clients to view the piece in the unique lighting of their space. You may find you love the work even more or you may find it becomes too dark or too small for a space!
- residential & corporate consultations
Crescent Hill Gallery prides itself on having thoughtful and knowledgeable staff, capable of giving expert advice on what artwork would best enhance your space, whether it be at home or at the office, or within an established or burgeoning art collection. We take the time to get to know our clients’ tastes – likes and dislikes, from technique to subject matter – and can easily navigate the thousands of works in our collections to find the perfect match.
So what makes for a perfect home consultation? It’s simple. Have a conversation with us! We want to hear all about your space, how you or your designer has worked towards creating it, what you’d like to see there, and what type of art you really love! Once we have a good idea of your taste we will make some suggestions with virtual installations and then arrange to bring some of your favourties over to try in the space.
Are you looking for your business? Are you starting a new corporate collection or contributing to an established corporate collection? Talk to one of our art advisors today about your business and what is important to your unique company or industry. If you’re contributing to an existing corporate collection we will arrange for a site visit so that we can better appreciate the thematic undercurrent. Once we have a good understanding we will be able to suggest pieces to both enrich and strengthen your body of work. If you’re starting fresh we can offer expert advice on beginning this new journey.
- local delivery & installation
The gallery is happy to bring your new piece to your home and install it. We travel to Oakville, Brampton, Burlington, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Toronto, & more!
We are often in the Niagara Region too!
- worldwide shipping
With collectors all over the world we are well versed in shipping original art. We work with a number of the largest shippers in the world and create custom boxes for each painting. We pack the work so it is safe and secure, so you do not have to worry!
Additional shipping charges apply for rush shipping (if required). We charge USD for any purchase outside of Canada. Applicable taxes will be added to all Canadian purchases.
At Crescent Hill Gallery we aim to provide our collectors with the highest quality framing to enhance and finish any artwork they buy. We work with five different moulding providers so that we can have a wide range of popular and contemporary options for our collectors to choose from.
Bring your work in and we can help you find the perfect frame to highlight the work. We can fully mount and assemble a piece or stretch an unstretched canvas, tape the edges and frame it. The options are endless!
- facilitating commissions
If you’re looking for a piece in a particular size or subject matter we can facilitate a commission for you with one of our artists. We will reach out to the artist you’re interested in and discuss the possibilities. The pieces are all original works of art and the artistic license must be left to the artist. As long as this is understood most of our artists love painting with collectors in mind. Ask us about this process!
