Biography: Zenon Burdy

Zenon Burdy was born on May 25, 1956, in Poland. He completed his education with the Fine Art Faculty of Nicholaus Copernicus University in Poland.

Zenon is now a Canadian artist who has had many solo and group shows in Poland, Canada, Germany, Holland, Japan, and the USA. Zenon has rediscovered some of the trade secrets of the old masters and has applied them with great effect to produce oil paintings which while reflective of the technique of the old masters, breathe with a life & character that is uniquely his.

Zenon’s paintings can be found in national and private collections in Germany, France, Sweden, Austria, Poland, Ireland, USA, and Canada, as well as the National Gallery in Washington, D.C.
