It seems like spring is off to a bumpy start, with all of the alternating cold and warm weather, but it’s looking like this week is going to warm up quite a bit! What a great opportunity to get those gardens started – there is nothing quite like fresh fruit and vegetables from your own garden in the summer.

With the weather reports indicating that things will warm up in the coming week, our long wait will hopefully be rewarded!  Julia Klimova’s newest painting is just right for the occasion – a perfect summation of our long wait for the flowers of spring.

Spring has finally sprung here – or so it would seem today!  After yesterday’s frost we’ve been given a pleasant surprise with this lovely warm spring weather!  What a great opportunity to get out into the garden to tidy up and start preparing seeds for planting.  Do you have a food garden? Fresh plants grown at home always seem to have the best tasting fruits and vegetables, and now is just about the time to get things started.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate!
